Glenn Jacklin – Recreation Superintendent of Administration, Childcare, Leisure Activities and Camps.

Glenn Jacklin was born in Melbourne Australia where he completed his education graduating with a Bachelors of Applied Science (Physical Education) and Diploma of Education at R.M.I.T. University Melbourne Australia

His working career has been wrapped around sports which include the Australian Alpine Institute and Sports Centre Manager for Adventure Ridge in Vail Colorado. Glenn is an accomplished athlete, loves Golf and excels at most sports and activities.

Glenn has also been a Teacher in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, where he taught Physical Education, Science, Math, and Health. He coached Inter school sports teams and facilitated Outdoor Education Camps.

Glenn and his beautiful wife Marie were married in 2007 and hope to reside in Big Bear for many years to come.

Aaron has worked in the Recreation Field since 1997. He is an avid sports enthusiast, excelling in basketball and golf. He has coached High School Basketball, is a CIF and CCAA Basketball Official and a certified lifeguard. He is passionate when it comes to getting kids involved and truly loves the recreation industry. He lives in Sugarloaf with his wife and two delightful daughters.

Samantha has worked in the child care industry for over 20 years. She began working for the Rainbow Kids Club in 2000; she has been a childcare teacher, Lead Teacher, Site Director and now serves in the capacity of Child Care Coordinator. Samantha has been married to her husband Tim since 1988. They have 3 beautiful children. The Monahan family has lived in beautiful Big Bear since 1998.

Christa is affectionately known as the “Silly Hat Lady” because she has one for EVERY occasion. She loves working with the kids, because at heart she is still one herself. She has been with RKC since 1999. She started as a teacher, and has worked her way up to site director at North Shore Elementary. She has over 20 childcare units and has worked with children for over 20 years.

Dolores Toner

Rainbow Kids Club Director, BBE

Dolores has been with the Park District for 4 years. She started as an aide and has worked her way up to Director of RKC BBE. She is continually working on her child care education. She loves her job and says the kids are so full of laughter and energy. They are a constant source of entertainment.
