“Health is the vital principle of bliss, and exercise, of health.”

-James Thomson

Cardio kickboxing is a combination of aerobics, boxing, and martial arts and is inspired by martial arts, and has motivated many people.

This intense, total-body workout can improve strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination, and balance. A one-hour kickboxing workout can burn from 500 to 800 calories, which is up to twice the calories you burn during a one-hour step-aerobics class.

The Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District offers Shorin Ryu style Karate and has been providing excellent technical instruction to students in the Big Bear Valley for many years.

“Exercise your body, and live a full life.”
