Art For Children This fun class will give your child a fabulous foundation to draw and paint on their own. Your child will learn the basics of fine art starting with pastels, and then moving on to water colors, graphite, acrylic and oil painting. The sky is the limit! ** There are a limited number of spaces available for the 2:30, 5:00 and 6:15 classes ** Spaces go to the first to register at the Park District Office ** Instructor: Paula Bradley Where: District Office Community Room, 41220 Park Ave., Big Bear Lake Who: Children ages 5 - 18 When: Friday Starting at 2:30 PM Cost: $50.00 / 4 Week Session; $60.00 / 5 Week Session

    The Recreation Department offers a wide range of leisure classes for valley residents of all ages. All classes are offered at either a monthly or one time fee, and registrations are taken at the District office at Meadow Park. Our fall youth class lineup includes gymnastics, art, and karate while we offer adult classes in Beginning Drawing and Yoga. Instructors are experienced and skilled and looking forward to meeting your needs. Visit the District office and get a free one-time class voucher. Wire Wrapped Jewelry with Dee Forbes Make a beautiful wire wrapped gem stone pendant in a 2 hour class. Wire wrapping is easy and takes a minimum of tools ad supplied. Dee Forbes has been teaching the wire wrapping techniques in Palm Desert for the past 6 years and has many designs and techniques to share with you. Lessons 2 and 3 are for a bracelet or ring.
